Vancouver Island passenger-rail study receives funding

PacifiCan announced $500,000 for feasibility and technical studies into restoring passenger rail between Victoria West and Langford. The studies will examine whether the connection can be brought back. The funding supports planning; it does not mean passenger service has been approved or restored.
